so the other day when this guy calls me on the way to work

"hey ! i like your bike man i'm interested!"

"OH! nice! well i'm on my way to work now maybe we could talk tonight or tomorrow gimme a call"

"alright man "

so with all the unsubstantiated inquests i was wondering wether this would lead to anything..
i was pretty surprised when the guy gave me a call back this afternoon. apparently his name is kevin.
i was even more surprised when i asked him when he wanted to take a look and he said he'd like to pick it up!!!!!
i was in disbelief

" you mean how heavy is it? "

"no! i'll take it!"

he was a really nice guy actually. i am so psyched that i sold it!!! now i can finally start putting my next bike together
if you've forgotten this is he

mission success

so now that my secret mission is over i can finally spill the beans.
basically what i was doing the other day was filming interviews with some of Terence's friends. and editing the footage, and finalizing the purchase. luckily my friend bill stepped up to the plate to buy the ipod touch. since i procrastinated the collecting of money like a mofo. while bill took care of that i got the interviews done. (drama happened) which threw me way off schedule! i got five interviews done before 7:48 then after the dramamama was resolved i got started again at around 10. so thank God for kelvin. he drove me around to the people's house's to get the rest of the interviews done. by the time we had finished filming it was 1am and i went home grabbed a bite then continued 2...3..4.56 before i knew it it was 9 am and i was adding the finishing touches to the video bill came by at 10:30 to drop off the ipod so i could put the video on it . but converting the file took forever so it couldn't have been done in time. we ended up just taking lappy to the airport to show terence.
the video

everything went well. terence was so happy and so that made me happy. made me glad i persevered to get it done. a few times i was like " this is impossible.. i am way too tired. i should just sleep" but i'd slap myself a couple of times and said "you won't see him for a long time. you CAN do this!" anyways everything worked out beautifully. i was sad to see him go.
afterwards i felt so emo. brian you were definitely right when you said "he grows on you" man that kid used to be the biggest pain in the ass. but now i don't know what will fill this void. what makes things worse was that i was so tired i forgot to add my part in the video. i wanted to tell him aside from brian that he was like a little brother to me . the kind of kid i'd be glad to have as a little brother and that whenever he needs advice or help to just come to me. i did tell him over msn just a little while ago but it just wasn't the same. oh well as long as he knows i guess it's fine.
i'll definitely miss the little goof ball. i hope he finds a lot of friends in hoko as well and continues to follow God's path for him.

flaming text is da bomb!

i just remembered about!!! my sister showed me that site when i was like 10 . word.
anyway not much going on. seems with the late news of no more drive on wednesdays till may, my bboying will take second to my riding. i've been riding a lot lately, since i built up brian's bike we've had more time to chill and just cruise around. i've been getting better fast. i'm trying to learn new tricks and stuff. if i can get good on my bike now, i'll be pro on my new bike. my bike now is so scary. gotta get backwards circles wheelys and one foot skids. don't get me wrong i'm still training my bboy stuff like a mad scientist.... my mind is all over the place. anyways peep this: fixed gear riding is progressing faster then anything i've ever known.. in the first few seconds the guy does a no handed skid.. redonkulous.

so after many grueling hours of blood and sweat and maybe one tear when i accidentally punched my face while tightening the seat. the finished product is DONE. there are a few things that could be tweaked here and there. but brian i take back what i said about the front end and everything. i did some tinkering tonight and went for a little test drive. she runs like a beaut ! solid construction, everything is set up perfect. i rode without hands for half the time cause the darn thing won't not go straight lol.
can't wait till we can just cruise around our hood and be the only fixed gear riders in north burnaby

bboy game

you know, lately i've been thinking a lot about that'ole bboy game. i always get philosophical with this ish.
i've been thinking, i have everything it takes to be a good bboy if not at least a decent bboy. i have crazy stuff i haven't even showed anyone yet(most anyone). i have fitness, endurance, balance, strength, some flexibility lol ... and creativity . but i've been thinking about this one thing a lot. i don't have enough confidence. i mean i've been training at bboying for 2 maybe 3 years now and i've just started battling the last year or so. and i really realized that confidence is really hindering me from being better. i know guys that lack in skill and strength and endurance etc, and yet they have so much confidence. and they can destroy me. why is that? i think ever since this battle i've really been struggling with this junk.

i know that when i battle for styleforce it's not styleforce i'm battling for. it's essentially me i'm repping and i guess i forget that.
